Southern city and provinces step up tourism co-operation

A tripartite co-operative agreement on tourism development for 2012-2013, was signed by the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces on April 4 in Binh Thuan province.

Under the agreement, the three localities pledged to support each other by providing investors with new policies on tourism development and planning, as well as investment promotion projects.

They will also co-ordinate human resources training in order to enhance staff’s customer service skills and work together on creating new tours and tourism products for visitors.

A photo exhibition featuring key tourism destinations of the three localities including Saigon market in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Lat flowers in Lam Dong province and the beach at Mui Ne in Binh Thuan province will also be organised at tourism events, fairs and festivals in each locality.
