According to Ha Noi City People’s Committee, N.N Investment and Development Joint Stock Company has sent a document to ask the city’s permission for the organization of a "Cultural festival of ethnic minority groups for peace on Long Bien bridge 2014".
The festival has been proposed to be held in December 2014 to contribute to building national solidarity and joining hands with international friends and visitors for peace in Viet Nam and around the world, said Nguyen Nga, Chief Executive Officer of N.N Investment and Development Joint Stock Company.
The event’s highlight will be a collection of one million signatures for the Record Book for Peace in Viet Nam and the world with the participation of 68 diplomatic and trade missions from countries around the world and represented in Viet Nam.
Long Bien bridge festival was successfully organized in 2009 and 2010. The bridge is known as a historical witness and a symbol of culture and the arts in the heart of Hanoians in particular and Vietnamese people in general.
