Update: Nov 21, 2014
A wide variety of cultural and arts activities honouring Viet Nam’s cultural heritages will be held at many spots in Ha Noi’s Old Quarter from November 20-23.

The events aim to celebrate Viet Nam’s Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2005 – 2014).

Ca tru (ceremonial singing) performances will take place for free at the Kim Ngan Temple at 42-44 Hang Bac street on November 20 and 22.

In addition, a photo exhibition introducing tangible and intangible cultural heritages in Ha Noi will also be held from November 21 to December 31. The exhibits highlight the beauty of the land, people and cuisine of Ha Noi.

Another exhibition entitled ‘Yem dao – The beauty of Vietnamese costumes’ opened this afternoon at Dong Lac Temple at 38 Hang Dao street. Visitors will be introduced to the beauty of one of the most unique traditional costumes of Vietnamese people.

The activities offer an opportunity for the capital’s citizens and tourists to learn more about Ha Noi’s traditional culture as well as contribute to raising the public’s awareness of preserving and promoting the country’s cultural values.
