Veteran artists who symbolise Vietnamese beauty will perform in a festival that will be held at Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) in Ha Noi from March 1 to 4.
The annual Lunar New Year (TET) Calligraphy Festival has opened at the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam) located south of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel at 58 Van Mieu Street in the Dong Da District of Ha Noi.
Over 80 photos, praising the beauty of nature, life and people in Ha Noi, are being showcased at a “Ha Noi in me 2015” exhibition, which officially opened at the Temple of Literature in Ha Noi on October 27.
Ha Noi authorities are restoring 82 stone tablets recording the royal examinations held under the Le-Mac dynasties (1442-1779) placed at Van Mieu (the Temple of Literature) and Quoc Tu Giam (Viet Nam’s first national university).
To respond to the programme 2010 to stimulate the tourist industry, “Vietnam-Your Destination,†initiated by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, HCMC’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organise and encourage a range of events to attract domestic and foreign tourists.
