The fifth Viet Nam Art Kite Festival kicked off on December 3 at the Bien Dong Resort in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau as part of a series of events during the International Kite Festival.
Authorities from Ho Chi Minh City and Gyoengsangbuk Province of the Republic of Korea met on December 2 to discuss preparations for the World Culture Festival, which will be organised by Gyoengsangbuk in the Vietnamese city.
The International Kite Festival will take place in the southern coastal province of Ba Ria -Vung Tau from December 6-11, expecting to draw 67 artisans from 23 countries and territories, the organising board revealed at a press conference on December 1.
