In Da Nang’s orientation for tourism development associated with ecological space and cultural identity, the midland and mountainous communes in the southern side of the city have emerged as potential areas.

Suoi Tien, Hon Kem - Da Dung and Ca Tang are famous for their amazing landscapes, historical and legendary imprints, and unique community life.
Located in Que Son Trung Commune, Suoi Tien was recognized as a scenic site by the former Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee under Decision No. 555/QD-UBND dated February 8, 2007.
It covers a planned area of 11.27 hectares, with clearly designated sections for public works, services, accommodation facilities, greenery, transportation and water surface.
In fact, Suoi Tien is a popular destination in the summer. Many families and groups of young people often come here to bathe in the stream and relax on weekends.
Meanwhile, the Hon Kem - Da Dung scenic spot, associated with many folk legends, has been featured in poetry, music and paintings.
With its majestic landscapes including steep cliffs, winding rivers and diverse forest ecosystems, the venue has a great potential to become the foundation for unique eco-tourism products.
In addition, the alluvial plains along the Thu Bon River, associated with the villages of Binh Yen, Dong An, Phu Gia, Tu Nhu and Thach Bich, is endowed by nature with fertile soil and year-round fruit crops. This offers favorable conditions for developing agricultural tourism and experiential activities.
The midland and mountainous communes south of Da Nang share many similarities with successful ecotourism models in Hoa Bac and Hoa Phu, northwest of the city.
If invested synchronously and exploited properly, these communes can become a new highlight on the city's eco-tourism map, contributing to diversifying tourism products and spreading socio-economic benefits to the local community.
