Ta Gia is home to various natural assets, including the hydropower lake, limestone ranges, and cave systems, which local authorities see as having tourism development potential. The area has so far retained much of its original character and also preserves the cultural traditions of local ethnic communities.

Many limestone mountains have unusual shapes, standing in the middle of the lake and surrounded by clear water. Boat trips on the reservoir let visitors view these formations up close and access hidden caves along the shoreline.

The caves formed over hundreds or thousands of years through erosion and water movement, creating unique interiors. Among them, Tham Nanh Cave is considered by locals to be the most notable, featuring a large chamber and well-preserved stalactites. The cave is partly hidden beneath a forest canopy.

Ta Gia is nearby other well-known attractions such as Than Uyen Pine Hill, Tham Phe Fish Village, Pa Khom Bay, and the Ta Mung Love Market, providing opportunities to connect destinations into larger travel plans.

Besides sightseeing, visitors can explore limestone caves, visit the Ta Gia suspension bridge, try local cuisine, and engage in cultural exchanges with ethnic minority residents. These activities are considered important for developing community-based tourism while preserving the area’s natural and cultural assets.
