Cham cultural center’s National Day delights

To give tourists a fun time on National Day vacations, the Cham Cultural Exhibition Center in Phan Hiep Commune, Bac Binh District, Phan Thiet City will host many attractive programs.

Visitors will not only get an insight into the Cham people via a display of artifacts which include royal costumes of the Cham imperial family, musical instruments and high-valued cultural objects and products as well as traditional craft creations of brocade and ceramics, but also can hear carol singing and a two-chord musical instrument performed by Kanhi artists.

Visitors are also welcome to join in on folk games of Cham people such as overcoming barricades, learning the Cham fan dance and beating the Ginang drum together with folk ceremonies such as rain praying and fire trampling (Rija Inugar).

There will be many artistic shows such as Ginang drums, Po Rija dance, Biyen fan dance or Thei Mai and Cek Di Tian singing. Brocade weavers and pottery makers will demonstrate for visitors and help them gain some craft skills with products for sale.

In the afternoon, guests will be taken to visit Klong Munai King Temple and the collections of Cham royal costumes in the seventh century at Tinh My Hamlet, Phan Thanh Commune in Bac Binh Province.
