The festival was organised by the Danang Foreign Languages University and the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association aiming to help Vietnamese students gain a better understanding of Japan’s people and culture.

This is the second such festival has been held in Danang. It featured a wide range of activities including art performances, a Japanese language speaking contest, a presentation on Furoshiki (the Japanese art of wrapping) and Japanese calligraphy.
