The Vietnamese creation The Sacred Soul of Vietnam triumphed at the Ocean International Lantern Festival, wowing judges with its cultural depth and environmental innovation.
A night festival with flower garlands and coloured lanterns opened in Ninh Kieu wharf in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on August 19.
A lantern festival will kick off a long night of New Year's celebrations at the Hoi An Statute Park on December 31.
