Since the beginning of 2023, Da Nang travel demand has increased up, leading to a strong recovery in passenger transport. It is forecasted that Da Nang's passenger transport will continue to prosper when the peak summer tourist season and the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival are nearing.
The number of tourists to the central coastal city of Da Nang reached more than 355,500 on holidays between April 28 and May 1, a year-on-year surge of 14.2 percent.
The central city of Da Nang aims to promote the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) to foreign friends and the city’s image as a leading destination of festivals and events in Asia, a municipal official said at a press conference on March 7.
